On April 7, 2020, Associate Education Program Director Arron Jiron updated the S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation’s Board of Directors on the early implications of COVID-19 for the Foundation’s Education Program. He describes the significant challenges facing California schools, teacher preparation programs, and national youth development organizations. He also summarizes ways that Foundation grantees and partners are responding.
