Angelica Ramirez, Program Associate

Angelica Ramirez joined the Foundation in 2018 as a program associate in the Education Program. In her role, Angelica supports both the Character and Policy and Advocacy Initiatives. Prior to joining the Foundation, Angelica supported Neighborhood Funders Group’s programmatic efforts in organizing philanthropy to move more money and resources to issues concerning racial justice, gender justice, labor and community partnerships, workers’ rights, community safety and justice models, and criminalization. Before that, Angelica facilitated workshops at the UC Davis Cross Cultural Center, provided direct constituent support at the Office of U.S. Congresswoman Doris Matsui, and assisted the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program at the East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation.

In her spare time, Angelica serves on the steering committee of Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy’s San Francisco Bay Area chapter. Angelica received her Bachelor of Arts in international relations from the University of California, Davis.
