Martha joined the Foundation in 2017 as director of finance. Before joining the Foundation, she worked for Fremont Group, a private investment company for the Bechtel family, in their Corporate Accounting department where she rose to assistant controller. During that time she also served as CFO during the startup phase of FPR Partners, LLC, a hedge fund manager. Prior to joining Fremont Group, Martha was an accounting manager at Sequoia Insurance Company, a Senior Associate in audit at Coopers & Lybrand, and a financial analyst for Equitec Financial Group.
Martha received her B.A. in economics from California State University, Hayward and an M.B.A from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. She is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area.
