Lucy Nguyen, Director of Grants Management

Lucy joined the Foundation in 2013, and she is the director of grants management. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring the quality, efficiency, and timeliness of all aspects of the Foundation’s grants management operations and systems across programs. Prior to joining the Foundation, Lucy spent twelve years as the grants and contracts manager at California Humanities directing all components of grants and contracts processing and compliance. Lucy was also a program associate for Bank of New York Mellon, where she managed a cultural access program for underserved communities in the Boston area. Prior to that position, she served as community projects assistant at the Museum of Science in Boston supporting community outreach efforts. Lucy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and has completed graduate coursework in American History at Boston College.
