James Montoya

James joined the Foundation in 2014 and is an administrative assistant with Foundation Services, supporting the team in a variety of ways. James brings with him over 15 years of administrative experience from California State University, Los Angeles, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Learning. As the first in his family to go to college, James is very much interested in the advancement of California’s underrepresented and underserved students. In his spare time, he enjoys tasting his way through all of Northern California’s amazing bounty.
