Caitlin Bini, Administrative Assistant

Caitlin Bini joined the Foundation in 2018 as an administrative assistant and supports the Education and Environment teams. Before joining the Foundation, she worked for decades as a writer and editor for educational organizations, such as the Learning Company, Broderbund Software, and Benjamin-Cummings Publishing, where she was the editorial assistant in the Life Sciences division. She was also heavily involved in the professional music industry, writing interactive tutorials and technical user manuals for digital audio recording and playback applications, such as Studio Vision and Pro Tools, which became industry standards in graphic audio waveform sound editing. Caitlin holds a B.A. in English and French literature as well as a Master Teacher permit in Early Childhood Education (ECE). She is a life-long learner and after earning her B.A., completed two full years of graduate coursework in professional editing and writing; she also completed more than a year of coursework toward her secondary English teacher certificate with a focus on special education and program management. During the early years of her career Caitlin taught pre-K and was privileged to work with Head Start and other programs for at-risk children.
